FOR SELLERS

Who can list a horse on SixBar6?
Only direct horse owners can list their horses for sale on SixBar6. We do not accept listings from middlemen, agents, or brokers. This ensures transparent pricing and helps maintain fair market values for North American buyers.
What types of horses do you accept?
We specialize in selling elite European showjumpers. Horses should have the potential for international sport, be in good health, and have competition or training experience that aligns with our buyers’ expectations. We focus on quality over quantity, ensuring that every horse meets our high standards.
How does the exclusive marketing agreement work?
By listing a horse with SixBar6, the seller grants us exclusive rights to market the horse in North America (USA, Canada, and Mexico) for a defined period. This means you cannot market or sell the horse to North American buyers through other channels during this time.
What are the commission fees, and who pays for logistics?
9% commission on standard sales (direct from SixBar6 to the buyer).
14% commission on sales through a trainer in North America.
Buyers are responsible for export, import, and transport costs.
Additional services like vet checks or promotional materials may carry extra costs.
If a seller sells outside the SixBar6 agreement during the exclusivity period, they are liable for 60% of the original commission based on the final sale price.
What happens if my horse doesn’t sell?
If your horse doesn’t sell within the exclusivity period, you can either extend the agreement or withdraw your listing without penalty. However, if a sale occurs outside SixBar6 but within the contract period, the seller remains liable for the agreed commission.
